Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with a crystal decanter, a glass and grapes; an Amsterdam canal in the background by Raoul Martinez was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. The price achieved of EUR 2,629.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Raoul Martinez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2003 the work Waalseilandgracht was auctioned for EUR 4,780.00.
