Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2015 Artcurial held the auction Photography, which included the work Kate 4 Ever – 1994 by Rankin. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rankin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suspended Kate In Colour, 1999 in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,563.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Photography durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kate 4 Ever – 1994 von Rankin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rankin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suspended Kate In Colour, 1999 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.563,10).
