Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish Chula Con Pañuelo Azul (Girl With A Blue Scarf) by Ramón Casas. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 164,500.00 (€ 202,175.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ramón Casas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Spanish julia was auctioned for GBP 283,250.00 (€ 348,935.26).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 164.500,00 (€ 202.175,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
