In November 2012 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Tourism in the Spanish Countryside by Ramón Casas. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,372.79), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ramón Casas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish julia in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 283,250.00 (€ 348,935.26).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tourism in the Spanish Countryside von Ramón Casas zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.372,79) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ramón Casas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish julia im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 283.250,00 (€ 348.935,26).
