Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work A drake in flight by Ralston Gudgeon for GBP 204.00 (€ 300.26). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ralston Gudgeon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work King Pheasant; Peacock; Hooded Crow 43 x 54cm (16 15/16 x 21 1/4in) and smaller. (3) in May this year with an auction result of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,483.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A drake in flight von Ralston Gudgeon für GBP 204,00 (€ 300,26) erwerben. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ralston Gudgeon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit King Pheasant; Peacock; Hooded Crow 43 x 54cm (16 15/16 x 21 1/4in) and smaller. (3) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.483,47).
