Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Nude) by Ralph Gibson was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December this year. The price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 925.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Gibson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Works, 1970 - 1997 in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,899.19).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.024,00 (€ 925,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ralph Gibson erzielen.
