Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Raffaello e Fornarina by Raffaello Romanelli. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,438.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raffaello Romanelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ruth in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 165,688.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Raffaello e Fornarina von Raffaello Romanelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.438,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raffaello Romanelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ruth im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 165.688,32).
