Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian parisian Scenes; A Pair by Raffaele Ragione was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2010. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,924.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffaele Ragione - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Nourrices Au Jardin, which sold at auction in June 2009 for EUR 36,750.00.

Die Arbeit Italian parisian Scenes; A Pair von Raffaele Ragione kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.924,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffaele Ragione mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Nourrices Au Jardin beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für EUR 36.750,00 versteigert wurde.
