Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Study of a bearded man by Raffaele Frigerio. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 336.00 (€ 492.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffaele Frigerio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sharing a joke; and Up to mischief, which sold at auction in January 2003 for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,259.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of a bearded man von Raffaele Frigerio zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 336,00 (€ 492,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffaele Frigerio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sharing a joke; and Up to mischief beobachtet, die im Januar 2003 für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.259,75) versteigert wurde.
