In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A good smoke; and Gathering water by Raffaele Frigerio. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 635.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Other works by Raffaele Frigerio have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2003 the work Sharing a joke; and Up to mischief was auctioned for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,259.75).
