A top price for Raffaele Frigerio - as previously expected
The work Sharing a joke; and Up to mischief by Raffaele Frigerio was sold in the British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in January 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,259.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sharing a joke; and Up to mischief is the most expensive artwork by Raffaele Frigerio that we have observed at auctions so far.
