Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (Cross from Traces of Paintings) by Rafał Bujnowski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,254.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Rafał Bujnowski have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Photo Index (Colour 2) was auctioned for USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,839.89).

Im März 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Cross from Traces of Paintings) von Rafał Bujnowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.254,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Rafał Bujnowski konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Photo Index (Colour 2) für USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.839,89) versteigert.
