Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Green Horizon by Rafa al-Nasiri for GBP 357.00 (€ 401.32). This price was achieved in the auction MiddleEast London to Dubai Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafa al-Nasiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adaa ela Baghdad (Prayers for Baghdad) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,784.01).
