Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Composition by Rafa al-Nasiri was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,832.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Rafa al-Nasiri have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Adaa ela Baghdad (Prayers for Baghdad) was auctioned for USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,784.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Rafa al-Nasiri wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.832,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Rafa al-Nasiri konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2015 die Arbeit Adaa ela Baghdad (Prayers for Baghdad) für USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.784,01) versteigert.
