Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Rafa Macarrón. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 85,345.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafa Macarrón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Matilda in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 487,498.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rafa Macarrón zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 85.345,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafa Macarrón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Matilda im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 487.498,15).
