Auction result well in line with expectations
The work He Vuelto A Nacer by Rafa Macarrón was auctioned at Phillips in London in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 92,457.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Rafa Macarrón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Matilda in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 487,498.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit He Vuelto A Nacer von Rafa Macarrón kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 92.457,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafa Macarrón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Matilda im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 487.498,15).
