The work Lean To by Rachel Howard was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,205.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachel Howard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Painting, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 132,000.00 (€ 86,916.44).

Die Arbeit Lean To von Rachel Howard kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.205,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachel Howard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Painting beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 132.000,00 (€ 86.916,44) versteigert wurde.
