Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work End Two by Rachel Howard was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,462.57). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rachel Howard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Painting, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 132,000.00 (€ 86,916.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit End Two von Rachel Howard kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.462,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rachel Howard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Painting beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 132.000,00 (€ 86.916,44) versteigert wurde.
