In the Contemporary Art Evening Auction auction, the work Waiting sold for GBP 317,000.00 (€ 449,399.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00. This high result makes Waiting the most expensive artwork by R. B. Kitaj that we have observed at auctions so far.
