Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work LOTUS AND PEONIES by Qu Zhaolin. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,327.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qu Zhaolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Perching By The Pomegranate in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,767.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit LOTUS AND PEONIES von Qu Zhaolin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.327,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qu Zhaolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Perching By The Pomegranate im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.767,93).
