Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Embracing The Spring by Qu Zhaolin was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 11,230.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Qu Zhaolin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Perching By The Pomegranate was auctioned for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,767.93).

Die Arbeit Embracing The Spring von Qu Zhaolin wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 11.230,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Qu Zhaolin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Perching By The Pomegranate für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.767,93) versteigert.
