A top price for Qiu Ti
This artwork by Qiu Ti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work West Lake in Autumn sold for HKD 5,300,000.00 (€ 525,518.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,600,000.00. This high result makes West Lake in Autumn the most expensive artwork by Qiu Ti that we have observed at auctions so far.
