Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cactus by Qiu Ti was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2002. It changed hands for a price of HKD 239,000.00 (€ 34,036.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Ti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work West Lake in Autumn in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 5,300,000.00 (€ 525,518.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cactus von Qiu Ti kam im April 2002 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 239.000,00 (€ 34.036,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Ti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit West Lake in Autumn im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.300.000,00 (€ 525.518,83).
