Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2009 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Le Voyage Vers L'Ouest by Qiu Jie. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 21,857.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Qiu Jie have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work Portrait of Mao was auctioned for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,317.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Voyage Vers L'Ouest von Qiu Jie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 21.857,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Qiu Jie konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2018 die Arbeit Portrait of Mao für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.317,83) versteigert.
