Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snow Scenery by Qin Xuanfu was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 19,285.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qin Xuanfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dragon Lamps at Sichuan Lantern Festival in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 2,248,000.00 (€ 245,964.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Snow Scenery von Qin Xuanfu wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 19.285,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qin Xuanfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dragon Lamps at Sichuan Lantern Festival im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.248.000,00 (€ 245.964,38).
