Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art (Part I), which included the work Fruit by Qin Xuanfu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,244.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qin Xuanfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dragon Lamps at Sichuan Lantern Festival in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 2,248,000.00 (€ 245,964.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art (Part I) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruit von Qin Xuanfu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.244,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qin Xuanfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dragon Lamps at Sichuan Lantern Festival im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.248.000,00 (€ 245.964,38).
