In the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale auction, the work Wind in the Pines of a Myriad Ravines, after Wang Meng sold for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,172.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qin Bingwen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sentiments Inspired by the Mountains, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,354.48).
