Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Red Lotus Pond by Qiao Mu. The price achieved of HKD 5,900.00 (€ 674.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qiao Mu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eagle And Pine Trees, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 17,700.00 (€ 2,023.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Lotus Pond von Qiao Mu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.900,00 (€ 674,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qiao Mu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eagle And Pine Trees beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 17.700,00 (€ 2.023,08) versteigert wurde.
