Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Drum Tower of Nanjing by Qian Songyan was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 12,750.00 (€ 1,444.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Songyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 400,044.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Drum Tower of Nanjing von Qian Songyan kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.750,00 (€ 1.444,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Songyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 400.044,82).
