Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Qian Songyan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Fishing Boats at Sunrise sold for HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 133,149.67) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Songyan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 400,044.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Songyan erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Fishing Boats at Sunrise für HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 133.149,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Songyan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 400.044,82) versteigert wurde.
