The work Beidaihe Riverscape by Qian Songyan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 31,875.00 (€ 3,610.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Songyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 400,044.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Beidaihe Riverscape von Qian Songyan wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 31.875,00 (€ 3.610,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Songyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery Of Huang Yang Jie im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 400.044,82).
