The work Landscape After Bada by Qian Shoutie was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,772.72), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Shoutie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).

Die Arbeit Landscape After Bada von Qian Shoutie wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.772,72) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Shoutie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
