Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Takahashi Kouhou Collection, which included the work Hermit In Mountain by Qian Shoutie. It changed hands for a price of HKD 45,600.00 (€ 5,072.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Shoutie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hermit In Mountain von Qian Shoutie zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 45.600,00 (€ 5.072,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Shoutie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
