The work Evening Visit by Qian Shoutie was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,290.78), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Qian Shoutie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).

Die Arbeit Evening Visit von Qian Shoutie wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.290,78) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Shoutie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
