This artwork by Qian Shoutie achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction, the work Boating sold for HKD 53,100.00 (€ 6,025.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Shoutie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Shoutie erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia wurde die Arbeit Boating für HKD 53.100,00 (€ 6.025,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Shoutie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collection Of Seals Showing The Evolution Of Chinese Characters im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
