The work Clerical Script Calligraphy by Qian Daxin was sold in the A Connoisseur's Vision: Property from the Xu Hanqing Collection auction at Christies in New York in September 2011. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,576.62), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Qian Daxin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 28,033.50).

Die Arbeit Clerical Script Calligraphy von Qian Daxin wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion A Connoisseur's Vision: Property from the Xu Hanqing Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.576,62) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Daxin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 28.033,50).
