A top price for Qian Daxin
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Qian Daxin. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 28,033.50). With this result, Calligraphy In Clerical Script is even the most expensive work of art by Qian Daxin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Qian Daxin
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Qian Daxin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 28.033,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Calligraphy In Clerical Script sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Qian Daxin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
