The price achieved of HKD 49,560.00 (€ 5,454.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Qi Junzao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script was auctioned for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,768.19).
