Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Horses Under Pine Tree by Pu Zuo. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,165.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Zuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,287.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horses Under Pine Tree von Pu Zuo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.165,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Zuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rabbits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.287,39).
