Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Partridges and Plum Bloosoms by Pu Zuo was auctioned at Bonhams in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,600.00 (€ 3,088.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Zuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,287.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Partridges and Plum Bloosoms von Pu Zuo kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.600,00 (€ 3.088,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Zuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rabbits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.287,39).
