This artwork by Pu Zuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 9,600.00 (€ 1,160.94) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Zuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,287.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Zuo erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 9.600,00 (€ 1.160,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Zuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rabbits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.287,39).
