Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo By The River by Pu Quan was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pu Quan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Travelling In The Mountain, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bamboo By The River von Pu Quan kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pu Quan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Travelling In The Mountain beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74) versteigert wurde.
