Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pu Quan could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in March last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale auction, the work Sunrise in a Misty Spring Forest changed hands for USD 637.50 (€ 574.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Quan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling In The Mountain in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Quan konnte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Sunrise in a Misty Spring Forest für USD 637,50 (€ 574,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Quan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travelling In The Mountain im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
