Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Amandes et plat de cerises sur un entablement by Pseudo Jan Van Kessel II. The price achieved of EUR 9,184.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pseudo Jan Van Kessel II - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grapes, Apples, Peaches In A Blue And White Porcelain Bowl, With Strawberries In A Broken Porcelain Bowl On A Stone Ledge, With A Monkey; And Grapes And Peaches In A Basket On A Raised Stone Ledge, With A Melon, Figs And A Turtle, which sold at auction in April 2016 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,153.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Amandes et plat de cerises sur un entablement von Pseudo Jan Van Kessel II zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.184,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pseudo Jan Van Kessel II mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grapes, Apples, Peaches In A Blue And White Porcelain Bowl, With Strawberries In A Broken Porcelain Bowl On A Stone Ledge, With A Monkey; And Grapes And Peaches In A Basket On A Raised Stone Ledge, With A Melon, Figs And A Turtle beobachtet, die im April 2016 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.153,18) versteigert wurde.
