This artwork by Prunella Clough achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Still Life With Vase sold for GBP 2,167.50 (€ 2,465.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Prunella Clough achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishermen with Sprat Nets II in March last year with an auction result of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Prunella Clough erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Still Life With Vase für GBP 2.167,50 (€ 2.465,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Prunella Clough erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishermen with Sprat Nets II im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18).
