Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Sothebys in Doha held the auction A Collection of Orientalist Art, which included the work French La Fantasia Arabe by Prosper Lecourtier. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,565.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Prosper Lecourtier have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work French Fantasia Arabe was auctioned for USD 43,000.00 (€ 27,620.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Sothebys in Doha die Auktion A Collection of Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French La Fantasia Arabe von Prosper Lecourtier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 23.565,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Prosper Lecourtier konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit French Fantasia Arabe für USD 43.000,00 (€ 27.620,76) versteigert.
