Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm, which included the work Beach from Frösön by Primus Mortimer Pettersson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 942.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Primus Mortimer Pettersson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Soluppgång" in October 2010 with an auction result of SEK 39,000.00 (€ 4,185.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beach from Frösön von Primus Mortimer Pettersson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 942,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Primus Mortimer Pettersson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Soluppgång" im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 39.000,00 (€ 4.185,19).
