Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work The Discussion by Pravoslav Kotík. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. Admittedly, works by Pravoslav Kotík have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Czech women Peeling Potatoes (Ženy Loupající Brambory) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,126.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Discussion von Pravoslav Kotík zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pravoslav Kotík auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Czech women Peeling Potatoes (Ženy Loupající Brambory) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.126,28).
