Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Czech harvest Time by Pravoslav Kotík. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,049.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pravoslav Kotík - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Czech women Peeling Potatoes (Ženy Loupající Brambory), which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,126.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Czech harvest Time von Pravoslav Kotík zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.049,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pravoslav Kotík mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Czech women Peeling Potatoes (Ženy Loupající Brambory) beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.126,28) versteigert wurde.
