Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pescatori by Pompeo Mariani was sold in the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 350.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pompeo Mariani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Elegant Ladies in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 43,292.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pescatori von Pompeo Mariani wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 350,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pompeo Mariani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Elegant Ladies im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 43.292,02).
